Lucknow – The fusion of politics and technology took centre stage in Lucknow today with the launch of Digital Rajneeti: Opportunities and Transformation in the AI Era, authored by Mohammad Arslan. The event, held at Universal Booksellers, Gomti Nagar, was jointly organised by The Essence Agency and Universal Booksellers.
Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Minority Welfare, Danish Azad Ansari, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, alongside a distinguished panel comprising Dr. Mukul Srivastava (Professor, University of Lucknow), Atma Prakash Mishra (Programme Head, Doordarshan Uttar Pradesh), Gaurav Prakash (Partner, Universal Booksellers), and Atiq (Anchor, DD News). Representing The Essence Agency were Shivansh Nautiyal, Rashid Ansari, and Jai Veena Singh.
The book delves into how artificial intelligence and digital tools can make Indian politics smarter, faster, and more transparent. It outlines practical governance solutions for grievance redressal, feedback systems, budget allocation, and volunteer management.

Speaking at the launch, Danish Azad Ansari said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks of Digital India, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Digital UP. This is the era of digital and AI. Our young author has written an excellent book on Digital Rajneeti, and we will take it to the Assembly level.”
Dr. Mukul Srivastava congratulated Arslan on his debut, observing, “Times are changing, going digital. The subject of Digital Rajneeti is extremely relevant.”

Atma Prakash Mishra linked the theme to legislative developments, adding, “Today the Assembly session began, and Speaker Satish Mahana spoke of MLAs using AI. This book on Digital Rajneeti arrives at the right moment.”
Gaurav Prakash praised the author’s focus, remarking, “AI should be called Authentic Intelligence. With authentic data, you can influence major processes like elections. The real question is — will AI change politics, or will politics change AI?”
Author Mohammad Arslan shared his vision: “I want Digital Rajneeti to make governance faster, smarter, and more transparent — not just in elections, but in everyday decision-making. My hope is that this book becomes a blueprint for leaders who wish to serve more effectively in a changing world.”
The event concluded with a Q&A session and an engaging discussion on integrating technology into political structures.
