Lucknow – The second day of Ganesh Mahotsav 2025, being celebrated at the BBD Educational Campus, witnessed an overwhelming turnout of devotees as renowned singer Dr. Malvika Hariom enthralled the audience with her soulful renditions.
The evening began with a devotional Ganesh Vandana “Pehla Poojan Tohar Ho Gauri Ke Lalanwa,” which set a deeply spiritual tone across the packed venue. Dr. Hariom continued to mesmerize the gathering with a medley of folk and devotional songs, including Ud Jaaun Re Sugna Ganga Paar, Godna Gode Godan Haar, Isi Dum Pe Guluband Banwaai De Balma, Bajan Baje Duaar, Rangeela Dulha Byahan Aaya, Hamre Charkhe Ke Toote Na Taar, Gaadi Haule Chalao, Jhoola Kadamb Ki Dariya, and Chalat Musafir Moh Liya Re Pinjre Wali Munia. The audience, swayed by her powerful voice, broke into spontaneous dance and claps, creating a joyous devotional atmosphere.
The evening’s chief guest was Dr. Babita Singh Chauhan, Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission, who was felicitated by Alka Das Gupta, Chairperson of the BBD Group, with a bouquet and memento.


Later, during the grand evening aarti, Dr. Chauhan, Alka Das Gupta, BBD Group President Viraj Sagar Das, Vice-President Devanshi Das, Sonakshi Das, and CEO R.K. Agrawal joined devotees in offering prayers to Lord Ganesha. Thousands of students from the BBD Educational Group, along with residents from nearby villages, participated enthusiastically, filling the air with devotion. Following the aarti, traditional laddoos and kheel-batasha were distributed as prasad.
The festivities will continue tomorrow with vibrant cultural performances by BBD students, featuring presentations of international standard.
