Developing Future Leaders through Rotaract Club Installation at School of Management Sciences, Lucknow

Lucknow: The School of Management Sciences (SMS), Lucknow, witnessed a momentous occasion with the successful organization of the Rotary Club Installation and Pinning Ceremony. The event celebrated the spirit of leadership, service, and community engagement among students and faculty members.

The Guests of Honour for the event included distinguished Rotarians — Rtn. Ganesh Agarwal, President Rotary Club of Lucknow, Rtn. Vibhor Agarwal, Secretary Rotary Club of Lucknow, Rtn. K.K. Srivastava, PDG-Rotary Club of Barabanki, PDG Rtn. C.P. Agarwal, PDG-Rotary Club of Lucknow, Rtn. Ashok Tandon, Rtn. Naresh Agarwal, Regional Secretary Mrs. Bharti Gupta and DRR Mahi Bhan whose presence and words of wisdom inspired the gathering and added immense value to the occasion.

During the session, office bearers were formally installed and pinned with badges and certificates, taking a pledge to work diligently for the success of the club. Student of B.Tech-3rd year Mr. Piyush Giri was declared as the Club President, while Mr. Om Rai student of B.Tech-2nd year took charge as the Secretary of Rotaract Club at SMS Lucknow along with 36 other post bearers and members who committed to uphold the values and vision of Rotary.

The event was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Bhatnagar, Director, SMS Lucknow, Prof. (Dr.) B.R. Singh, Director General (Tech.), Prof. (Dr.) Dharmendra Singh, Associate Director, Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Singh, Dean Student Welfare and Dr. Pushpanjali Singh, Associate Professor & Event Coordinator, along with faculty members and students.

On this occasion Secretary & CEO SMS Lucknow Shri Sharad Singh said that we always believe in nurturing individuals who not only excel academically but also understand their duties towards community. The Rotaract movement perfectly align with the philosophy-“Encouraging young minds to learn through service, lead with compassion, and create lasting impact”.
