Uttar Pradesh has made a lot of progress in terms of tourism in the last few years and today it is among the major tourist destinations of the country. This is the reason why a large number of tourists are arriving here from all over the world. On the other hand, the development work of decorating Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham with a corridor and Shri Ayodhya Dham has established both these places as the top tourist destinations of the state in recent years. Apart from this, Maha Kumbh is also going to be organized in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh in the year 2025 in which at least 30 crore people can participate. In such a situation, a detailed project report (DPR) will be prepared to assess the tourist gap analysis in the state. Through this, the process of tourism development in various circuits including the spiritual circuit of the state will get a new direction. Apart from this, this report will also be important in terms of branding and marketing etc. because through this, various standards including the handling capacity of the tourist destinations of the spiritual circuit will be determined and on the basis of these standards, it will be decided which strategy can be adopted to develop which tourist destination the best.

The data required for the survey will also be collected from photography, video clips and drone coverage

According to the action plan, the agency that will get the work allocation from among the agencies selected by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department for tourist gap analysis will ensure that the methodology of the survey is decided after consultation with the officials of the department as per the needs of the department. By the way, the survey report will include the sampling of how many people’s feedbacks will be, photography and video clips of all the selected tourist destinations will also be recorded, which will be included in the DPR. Apart from this, if needed, drone sampling and photo-video capturing coverage will also be done by drone.

Not only revenue, it will also become a source of foreign investment and employment

As per the action plan on all the selected tourist spots and destinations, under the DPR, the collection of tourism statistics, assessment of growth trend and capacity, citizen centric approach and feedback from the people about each place will be collected. This will complete the process of proper operation and upgradation of tourist spots and destinations through National International Good Practices Global Experiences and Futuristic Next Gen Technology Application. Completion of all these works will increase the revenue received by the state government along with the increase in the crowd of tourists at these places, as well as it will help in attracting foreign investment from all over the world on a large scale in these areas, which will pave the way for the development of the area and employment and better facilities for the local people.
