Desperate Criminal Linked to Gogi Gang Arrested by Special Staff in Rohini

Delhi – In a major breakthrough under Operation Panther-Claw, the Special Staff of Rohini District Police has arrested a notorious criminal, identified as Kuldeep alias Golu (31), a member of the infamous Gogi Gang. The arrest has led to the recovery of two country-made pistols and two live cartridges from his possession.

Crackdown on Gang Activity

Acting on the directives of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to eliminate gang-related crime in Delhi, the Rohini Police launched a targeted operation on March 15, 2025, to curb gangster activities in the region. During the operation, police received specific intelligence about the movement of a wanted criminal in the Kanjhawala area.

A special team was immediately formed under the leadership of Inspector Amit Dahiya of the Special Staff, supervised by ACP (Operations) Ishwar Singh. The team, including SI Ashok, ASI Devanand, and Head Constables Deepak, Vijender, and Akash, laid a trap and successfully apprehended Kuldeep @ Golu.

Arms Seized, Case Registered

Upon search, police recovered two country-made pistols and two live cartridges from Kuldeep’s possession. He was arrested on the spot, and a case under FIR No. 120/25, Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act was registered at PS Kanjhawala.

Gang Links and Criminal Background

During interrogation, Kuldeep confessed that while in jail, he came into contact with Abhishek alias Tara, a member of the Neetu Dabodia and Gogi Gangs, who later helped him procure illegal firearms after his release. Kuldeep subsequently joined the Gogi Gang and was receiving instructions from his handler for criminal activities.

Police have confirmed that Kuldeep, a resident of Village Punjab Khor, Delhi, is a ‘Bad Character’ (BC) of PS Kanjhawala and has been previously involved in nine criminal cases, including theft, robbery, and violations of the Arms Act.

Ongoing Investigation

Efforts are underway to trace the source of the illegal weapons and further uncover the network connected to the Gogi Gang. Police have intensified surveillance to clamp down on gang activities in the region.
