Deputy CM reviews development works in Kaushambi

Kaushambi: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister  Keshav Prasad Maurya  along with Minister of State for Prisons/Minister in charge  Suresh Rahi  held a meeting with the officials of Kaushambi district  at Maa Sheetla Devi Guest House, Sayara, Kaushambi. The Deputy Chief Minister told all the officials that the resolution of small problems of the common man/applicants should be ensured at the block level, tehsil level and police station level, so that the common man/applicant does not have to go to the district level or the government level.

He said that it should be ensured that the victim gets justice in all circumstances and strict action should be ensured against the criminals. He said that the Lekhpal working in one tehsil for more than 03 years should be transferred to another tehsil.

Similarly, the Secretary, Gram Panchayat/Gram Vikas Adhikari working in one development block for more than 03 years should be transferred to another block and the constable/sub-inspector working in the police station should be transferred to other police stations.

All transfers should be done as per the guidelines laid down as per the rules. He said that in revenue matters, a committee of revenue officers should be constituted and the matters should be settled by holding a meeting with the villagers. He also directed to bring progress in the settlement of revenue disputes.

He said that the construction work of the ongoing projects such as Ramvan Gaman Marg and the construction of four-lane road from Prayagraj Airport to the excavation site Kaushambi, etc. should be completed with quality and speed. There should be no compromise with the quality in the construction work of the ongoing projects, if the quality is not found, action will be taken against the concerned.

He directed the Executive Engineer PWD to prepare a proposal for the construction of new roads under PMGSY and send it to the government. In view of the accidents occurring during the day in Sirathu market, he directed to restrict the movement of heavy vehicles going from Saini to Dhata via Sirathu bridge during the day.

During the review of Jal-Jeevan Mission, the Deputy Chief Minister, while getting information about the progress of the works done so far from the Executive Engineer, Jal Nigam, said that the works should be completed expeditiously.

Along with this, he told the District Magistrate that whether the pipeline has been laid one meter below the ground or not, etc., the work should be verified by nominating an officer. During the review of the Health Department in the meeting, the Chief Medical Officer said that under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, golden cards of 05 lakh 23 thousand beneficiaries have been made so far against the target of 06 lakh 91 thousand.

The Deputy Chief Minister directed the Chief Medical Officer to get the Community / Primary Health Center and Sub Health Center inspected, and action should be ensured for the deployment of staff in the health centers where there is a shortage of doctors or paramedical staff. He told the Chief Veterinary Officer that all the necessary arrangements including straw-fodder for the cattle should always be ensured in the cowsheds. He directed the Executive Engineer, Electricity to identify the employees who are involved in over-billing/making wrong bills and take action against them and ensure that over-billing does not take place. In case of electrical fault, it should be repaired immediately.

The Deputy Chief Minister directed the District Panchayat Raj Officer to ensure cleanliness of the Gram Panchayats by making a Gram Panchayat-wise roster and running a campaign. He directed the District Supply Officer to ensure that there is no underweighing at the ration shops and the ration dealers get their benefits on time. He told all the officers that the eligible beneficiaries who have been deprived of houses, Kisan Samman Nidhi, toilets and pension etc. under the public welfare schemes- Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana should be benefited and 100% progress should be ensured as per the departmental target.

He told the Deputy Commissioner NRLM that for the empowerment of women of self-help groups, they should be trained to prepare such products so that those products can be exported worldwide. He directed the Divisional Forest Officer to ensure plantation of saplings as per the target along with plantation at important places like Sayara Guest House premises and Collectorate etc.

Minister of State  Suresh Rahi also gave important guidelines to the officers.

In the meeting, the Chief Development Officer informed that the inlet/outlet of Amrit Sarovars is being repaired so that rain water can be stored, on which the Deputy Chief Minister said that such a system should be ensured so that there is always water in Amrit Sarovars.

He told the concerned officers that water should be arranged for irrigation to the farmers, so that the farmers do not have to worry about irrigating their fields. It was told in the meeting that tender has been done for the construction of library in Korra, on which the Deputy Chief Minister said that the construction work of a world-class library should be done.

On this occasion, Chairman, District Panchayat  Kalpana Sonkar and BJP District President  Dharmaraj Maurya and District Magistrate  Rajesh Kumar Rai, Superintendent of Police  Brijesh Kumar Srivastava and Chief Development Officer Dr. Ravi Kishore Trivedi along with other concerned officers were present.
