Lucknow: A debate (declamation) competition on the theme ‘Voices of Virasat’ was organized at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University on October 30, on the occasion of Delhi State Foundation Day. The event was held under the guidance of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Raj Kumar Mittal, and was chaired by Prof. U.V. Kiran, Dean, School of Home Science. Around 60 students participated in the competition. The panel of judges included Prof. Suman Mishra, Prof. Shura Darapuri, and Dr. Subhash Mishra.
The objective of the competition was to encourage expression and awareness among students about India’s rich cultural heritage, patriotism, and glorious traditions. Each participant was given five minutes to present their views on topics related to India’s heritage, national pride, and the spirit of Indianness.

The competition was conducted in both Hindi and English languages. Prizes will be awarded to the participants securing first, second, and third positions. Dr. Rahul Varshney, Dr. Vibhuti Narayan, Dr. Abhishek Verma, Dr. Anuradha, and several participants and students were present during the entire program.
