Lucknow — In an effort to enhance law and order across the western zone of the state capital, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Vishwajeet Srivastava chaired the monthly crime review meeting today. The high-level meeting was held to assess recent crime trends, review ongoing investigations, and streamline policing strategies.
Present at the meeting were ADCPs, ACPs, and Station House Officers (SHOs) of all police stations falling under the West Zone jurisdiction. Officers provided detailed updates on crime statistics, pending cases, and progress in ongoing operations, particularly related to theft, cybercrime, narcotics, and crimes against women.
During the meeting, DCP Srivastava issued strict directives emphasizing the need for:
