Lucknow: While the monsoon brings relief from the scorching summer, it also raises the risk of seasonal illnesses—particularly among children, whose immunity is often more vulnerable. To spread awareness about strengthening immunity during this season, Dabur Chyawanprash organized a special workshop at Bal Nikunj English School, Paltan Chhawani Branch, Sector-A, Sitapur Road Yojana (near Ram Ram Bank Chauraha).
More than 250 students attended the program, where they were educated about preventive measures against common monsoon illnesses such as cold, cough, malaria, dengue, typhoid, and pneumonia.
The session was addressed by Ayurvedacharya Dr. V. Arora, who explained how the warm and humid climate during monsoon facilitates infections, especially when immunity is low. He emphasized the role of Ayurveda and Rasayana therapy—one of the eight special branches of Ayurveda—in promoting vitality and building resistance against diseases. He noted that consuming two spoonfuls of Dabur Chyawanprash daily is an easy way to integrate this age-old wisdom into modern lifestyles.

Dr. Arora further explained that Chyawanprash, a centuries-old Ayurvedic formulation, combines herbs and minerals to support the body’s natural defense system. Modern clinical and pre-clinical studies by Dabur have also shown its beneficial effects on immunity, allergies, and seasonal infections. Ingredients like Amla, Giloy, Pippali, Kantakari, Kakdasingi, Vasaka, and Pushkarmool are known to boost respiratory health and strengthen the immune system.

Speaking on the occasion, Amit Garg, Marketing Head – Health Supplements, Dabur India Ltd., said, “With Ayurveda’s rich heritage and the power of nature, Dabur has always focused on safe, effective, and affordable healthcare solutions supported by authentic research. Dabur Chyawanprash, prepared using traditional Ayurvedic knowledge and modern technology, is an ideal way to protect oneself against seasonal infections.”
Also present at the workshop were Dinesh Kumar (Corporate Communications Manager, Dabur India Ltd.), H.N. Jaiswal (Managing Director, Bal Nikunj School), Principal Rashmi Shukla, and social worker Pankaj Kumar.
The workshop concluded with a strong message: awareness and immunity are the best safeguards against monsoon illnesses.
