“Creathon” Charts the Path of Innovation at AKTU

Lucknow – A vibrant celebration of innovation unfolded  at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), where the university hosted “Creathon” — an event aimed at nurturing creative ideas and technological breakthroughs. The event was inaugurated under the leadership of  Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.P. Pandey.

Jointly organized by Innovation Hub, MIET Incubation Forum, ACIC MIET Foundation, Meerut, and India Expo Mart Limited, Creathon brought together aspiring innovators from various institutions across Uttar Pradesh. The participants actively engaged in hackathons and ideathons, presenting fresh, impactful ideas.

A key highlight of the event was the opportunity extended to winners and shortlisted participants — they will showcase their innovations at the upcoming Bharat Shiksha Expo 2025, scheduled to take place at India Expo Mart, New Delhi, from April 24 to 26, 2025. This grand finale will provide a national platform for students to exhibit their pioneering concepts.

The initiative is seen as a crucial step in fostering a culture of innovation, startup development, and social entrepreneurship among students. The event took place in the esteemed presence of Prof. B.N. Mishra, Dean of Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship, and Dr. Anuj Kumar Sharma, Associate Dean.

The blueprint of this initiative was crafted by Mahip Singh, Head of Innovation Hub, whose vision played a pivotal role in bringing Creathon to life. The event was also made possible through the significant contributions of Anurag Tripathi, Assistant Manager at Kalam Incubation Center, along with Rehan Khan and Dr. Prashant Gupta, who played key roles in executing the event.

Creathon not only showcased emerging talent but also set the tone for a future driven by innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship.
