Ayodhya: Ayodhya Divisional Commissioner Rajesh Kumar inaugurated the newly constructed Divya Darshan Centre at the Siddh Peeth Hanuman Garhi by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. The centre offers devotees a unique 6D virtual tour and digital darshan experience of Ayodhya, marking a significant step towards blending tradition with modern technology.
During the inauguration, the Commissioner interacted with the centre’s management to learn more about the immersive experiences being provided to pilgrims. He also directed officials to enhance the centre’s appeal by planting greenery and adding other attractions. Ashwini Kumar Pandey, Vice-Chairman of the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA), was also present at the event.
Following the inauguration, the Commissioner and ADA officials inspected various ongoing development projects under the Ayodhya Development Authority and the Municipal Corporation. These included the Brihaspati Kund, pilgrim guest houses at Ayodhya Dham, and the new joint office complex of the Municipal Corporation and ADA.
At the Brihaspati Kund project site, the Commissioner instructed authorities to complete the work by September while ensuring quality standards. He ordered the removal of municipal hoarding frames, relocation of electric poles, and the installation of sculptures of three revered figures crafted by artisans from South India to enhance the site’s cultural appeal.
Inspecting the Raj Dwar Park at Hanumangarhi, he directed that only high-quality construction materials be used and that attractive flowering plants in quality pots replace the existing ones. The executing agency, CIDCO, was instructed to maintain strict quality control in the construction of theatres, flooring, and other facilities being developed for tourists.

The Commissioner also reviewed the progress of a pilgrim guest house under the State Smart City Mission, where boundary wall and foundation work are underway. He stressed that all infrastructure components should be approved by the committee before implementation to ensure high standards.
At the under-construction joint office complex of the Municipal Corporation and ADA at Civil Lines, he examined the quality of tiles, switches, doors, false ceilings, and paints being used, and instructed that only approved and durable materials be installed.
The inspection highlighted the administration’s resolve to develop Ayodhya as a modern pilgrimage hub while maintaining cultural authenticity and ensuring long-term durability of public infrastructure.
