Lucknow: The tiny tots of the Pre-Primary Section of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I, have showcased their sporting talent by winning a total of 8 medals – 3 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze – at the Athrise Inter-School Athletics Championship 2025. The championship was organized under the aegis of Athrise Company at the PAC Mahanagar Ground, Lucknow, in which students from several prestigious schools participated and displayed their sporting abilities.
This information was given by Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS. Khanna informed that in the competition, the boys’ and girls’ teams in the under-6 relay race won the gold and silver medals, while in the long jump event, KG student Vijay Pratap Singh clinched the gold medal. In addition, Kanika Agnihotri and Samarth Raj won silver medals in the 50m race, while Shreeyukt secured the bronze medal. Displaying remarkable sporting skills at such a young age, these children have shown strong potential to make a mark at the national and international level in the future. CMS Founder-Director Dr. Bharati Gandhi has extended her best wishes for the bright future of these talented students.

Khanna further stated that CMS students are bringing laurels to the school not only in academics but also in sports and various social fields at national and international levels.
