CM Yogi to Attend Grand Sant Sammelan and Satsang in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to visit Muzaffarnagar on Wednesday to participate in a grand Sant Sammelan and Satsang event organized in memory of Swami Gyan Bhikshuk Das’s 65th death anniversary and Sant Samandas Maharaj. The spiritual congregation will take place at the Sant Shiromani Satguru Ravidas-Satguru Samandas Ashram, located at the revered Shukrateerth Dham.

Spiritual Legacy Honoured

Organizers, led by Maharaj Govardhan Das, have completed all preparations for the large-scale event. Speaking to the press, Maharaj Das highlighted the contributions of Swami Gyan Bhikshuk Das, who dedicated his life to the upliftment of society. His teachings promoted a vegetarian lifestyle and abstinence from intoxicants, inspiring generations of spiritual seekers.

CM Yogi, who is also the Mahant of Gorakshapeeth, will pay tribute to the spiritual luminaries and attend the satsang as a mark of respect to their lasting legacies.

Shukrateerth Dham on the Path of Transformation

The Yogi government is committed to the holistic development of Shukrateerth Dham, a site of immense religious and historical importance. Several infrastructure and tourism projects are currently underway:

  • Tourist Facilitation Centre (TFC) and modern parking facilities are under rapid construction.

  • Renovation of the Ganga Ghat and development of artistic landscaping, murals, and signage along major routes are ongoing.

  • A sound and light show is being developed to enhance the cultural experience for pilgrims and tourists.

  • A new Shrimad Bhagwat Kendra (Bhagavad Katha Centre) is also being constructed under the direct guidance of the state government.

Authorities have announced that most of these projects are scheduled for completion by October 2025, positioning Shukrateerth as a key spiritual tourism destination in western Uttar Pradesh.

This visit by the Chief Minister reaffirms the state’s vision to preserve spiritual heritage while enabling modern amenities for pilgrims.
