CM Yogi pays heartfelt tribute to Markandeya Yadav

Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed deep condolences on the demise of Markandeya Yadav, a devoted follower of the Gorakshpeeth and a senior social worker from Luhsi village in Pipraich. CM Yogi visited his ancestral residence in Luhsi on Thursday morning, offered floral tributes to the mortal remains, and paid his heartfelt respects.

Markandeya Yadav passed away on Wednesday morning during treatment at Medanta Hospital. He was known for his deep devotion to Gorakshpeeth.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Markandeya Yadav’s residence in Luhsi at around 10:15 a.m. on Thursday. He offered flowers to the mortal remains and photograph of the departed and paid an emotional tribute. Expressing his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, Chief Minister Yogi prayed to Guru Gorakhnath for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

Chief Minister also interacted with the family members of the late Markandeya Yadav, including his wife Guddi Yadav, sons Sanjeev Yadav and Vishal Yadav, brother Harendra Yadav, daughter Vandana Yadav, and son-in-law Himanshu Yadav, offering them comfort and support.

On this occasion, several dignitaries were present, including Gorakhpur Mayor Dr. Manglesh Srivastava, BJP State Vice President and MLC Dr. Dharmendra Singh, MLAs Mahendrapal Singh and Vipin Singh, Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Gram Vikas Bank Santraj Yadav, BJP district president Janardan Tiwari, Pipraich Nagar Panchayat chairman Sanjay Maddheshia, and senior leaders Radheshyam Singh, Anand Shahi, and Ranvijay Singh Munna, among others.
