Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with the officials of the Planning Department at his official residence and gave necessary guidelines regarding the publication of the District Domestic Product Estimates Uttar Pradesh 2022-23 booklet. He said that the state government is committed to promote the planned development of the people through Family ID. The work of data collection should be taken forward through Family ID. Data should be collected in a better way and updated data should be uploaded on time. Proper training should be given to the personnel engaged in data collection work. A better database of birth-death certificates should be prepared.
Uttar Pradesh is a state of infinite possibilities. The gross state domestic product of Uttar Pradesh was Rs 25.48 lakh crore in the year 2023-24, which was Rs 22.58 lakh crore in the year 2022-23. In the year 2023-24, the economy of Uttar Pradesh is growing at a growth rate of 08 percent. As a result of the planned efforts of the state government for the last seven years, it is likely to increase further.
The Chief Minister said that the District Domestic Product Estimates Uttar Pradesh 2022-23 booklet should include data like GSDP of Uttar Pradesh, DDP of the district and percentage share in the state and annual growth of the district and the state, per capita income of the district, per capita income of Uttar Pradesh, comparative position of the district and Uttar Pradesh. This booklet should also be sent to all the universities and Krishi Vigyan Kendras of the state and research work should be carried forward on the basis of these data by establishing dialogue with them.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is moving forward in the direction of Village GDP, District GDP, because panchayats and urban bodies are the basis of our development. There are immense possibilities of development in the agriculture sector. Work is being done in the direction of making panchayats and urban bodies self-reliant. In the last seven years, unprecedented work has been done in the direction of infrastructure development in Uttar Pradesh and urbanization has also increased rapidly. As a result, the per capita income of the people has increased.
The Chief Minister said that a self-reliant society will form the basis of a self-reliant India. There have been extensive changes in every sector in the state in the last 7 years. The change in the work culture of the state is clearly visible. Uttar Pradesh ranks first in the country in terms of capital expenditure. Compared to other states, Uttar Pradesh spends the highest budget on infrastructure development. Due to the inclusion of technology and corruption-free governance, an increase in the state’s revenue can be seen in the last 7 years.
