Gorakhpur: On the occasion of Deepawali, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a total of 74 projects worth Rs 185 crore for the development of Vantangiya village Jungle Tikonia No. 3 in Gorakhpur district. Apart from this, he distributed smart phones under various schemes like Swami Vivekananda Yuva Sashaktirkan Yojana, distribution of keys of Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana Gramin, distribution of cheques under National Rural Livelihood Mission, acceptance letters to the beneficiaries of Agriculture Department and distribution of Ayushman Card to the beneficiaries under Health Department.
After visiting the stalls, the Chief Minister also visited the village. He first reached the house of Vantangiya Samaj Mukhiya Ram Ganesh. The Chief Minister inaugurated Deepotsav for the villagers by lighting a lamp amidst the rangoli decorated outside his house.
On this occasion, in his address, the Chief Minister congratulated the people of the state on Deepawali and said that whenever Deepotsav takes place, Ram Raj is established. Ram Raj means that every section of the society should get the benefit of government schemes without any discrimination. There is no discrimination in the name of caste, untouchability, forward-backward, this is what is happening under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the last 10 years. This government is working to provide houses, free ration, medical facilities up to Rs 5 lakh through Ayushman card, free gas cylinder and employment guarantee to all. Development has also taken place under the leadership of the Prime Minister with the efforts of the central and state governments and while preserving the heritage, a grand temple of Ram Lalla has also been built in Ayodhya.
The Chief Minister said that so far 770 people have been provided one house each in Vantangiya village, now all the houses have been made permanent. Grihasthi and Antyodaya cards of more than 800 eligible families have been made. Ayushman cards of 4,000 beneficiaries have been made. 113 beneficiaries of old age pension, 66 destitute pension and 25 disabled pension have been benefited. Here 12 beneficiaries are benefited from the Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana. Every house has a toilet, every house also has a connection of Ujjwala Yojana. Also, 04 primary schools and one pre-secondary school are working here with all 29 parameters of Basic Education Council and Education Department. 38 groups have been formed here under National Livelihood Mission and 882 job cards have also been made.
The Chief Minister said that the promptness with which you people are getting the benefits of the schemes was never even imagined. The government has covered the eligible people with all the schemes so that prosperity comes in your life and the coming generation becomes prosperous. He said that if anyone tries to play with the honor of sisters / daughters in any society, then strict action will be taken. If someone disturbs the peace by creating riots on festivals, then strict action will be taken against him too.
The Chief Minister said that the government has guaranteed the safety of everyone without any discrimination. Our effort is to respect everyone, develop everyone, and prosper everyone. Opportunities for prosperity are created only in a safe environment. The vision of a bright future can be realised only in a safe environment and to realise this, we come to this Vantangiya village again and again.
The Chief Minister said that Sanatan Dharma and India complement each other, if Sanatan Dharma is strong then India will be strong. The enemy of the country cannot be our friend, the enemy of the country is the enemy of everyone and we all should make this resolution on the festival of Deepawali. This process of development should continue uninterrupted. He called upon everyone to take this resolution and said that if someone has any evil like drinking alcohol, taking drugs, gambling, then he will have to take a resolution to leave it. If someone has got into the habit of doing bad work, then leave it and follow goodness. Festivals and celebrations are the resolution day to follow the right path. He said that any poor person who does not have the ability to light a lamp in his house, light a lamp in his house and share happiness. A lamp should be lit in every poor person’s house during Deepotsav.
On this occasion, Fisheries Minister in the state government, Dr. Sanjay Nishad said that in Treta Yug, Lord Shri Ram had given respect to Nishadraj by embracing him. Today, the Chief Minister is giving the same respect by doing many things including building a huge statue of Nishadraj in Shringaverpur. He said that there was a time when the previous governments used to fire bullets on the Vantangiya people when they demanded their rights and today the Chief Minister has empowered them. He said that the way in Treta Yug all the people lived together without any discrimination, the Chief Minister is creating the same kind of government.
In the program, MP Ravi Kishan Shukla said that the Vantangiya people live in the heart of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister has been associated with the Vantangiya people since the time when no one cared about these forest dwellers. In fact, the Vantangiya people are very lucky, who celebrate Deepawali with such a personality, whom the people of the whole country are eager to see. He said that the Chief Minister never comes empty-handed among the Vantangiya people. He has opened the treasury for the development of forest villages.
MLA Vipin Singh and MLA Mahendrapal Singh also addressed the program. Other public representatives and senior officers of the government administration were present on this occasion.
