CM Yogi calls for tighter vigil

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with officials regarding strong law and order and facilities for devotees in view of the upcoming festivals.  CM Yogi’s meeting on UP law and order was held in the presence of ACS Home Deepak Kumar, DGP Prashant Kumar, Principal Secretary Transport, Principal Secretary Urban Development, DG Fire and ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash. CM Yogi reviewed the preparations being made for the festivals. During this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave necessary guidelines to the officials.

CM Yogi said that Ganga Dussehra is on June 16, Bakrid on June 17, Bada Mangal festival of Jyeshtha month is on June 18 and International Yoga Day is being  organized on June 21, while holy programs like Moharram and Kanwar Yatra are to be held in the month of July. This time is very sensitive from the point of view of law and order. The government and administration need to be in active mode 24×7.

CM Yogi said in the meeting that a special cleanliness campaign should be run in the state from 15 to 22 June. In view of Ganga Dussehra, the ghats of river Ganga should be cleaned and decorated.
