Greater Noida/Lucknow: Under the guidance of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region is set to witness a significant upgrade in its public transport infrastructure. The state government has decided to launch new bus services aimed at boosting connectivity, especially between Jewar Airport and Greater Noida, while also accelerating the region’s overall development.
Direct Bus from Jewar Airport to Pari Chowk
One of the key routes will connect Jewar Airport to Pari Chowk in Greater Noida, covering a distance of 42 kilometers. This will not only benefit local residents but also provide a convenient travel option for passengers arriving at the airport. Although a bus service on this route has been in operation since 2023, this initiative seeks to further enhance frequency and efficiency.
Two Additional Bus Routes Finalized
The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Department, under CM Yogi’s directive, has finalized two additional bus routes within the YEIDA region:
-
Botanical Garden to Bhangel: This route will pass through Noida’s Sector 20, Sector 21, and Kulesara before terminating at Bhangel.
-
YEIDA Regional Office to Bhangel via Dankaur and Sector 17: Spanning 51 kilometers, this route is expected to serve residents of Rabupura, Sectors 17, 20, 21, and 26, as well as students of Gautam Buddha University, and commuters headed to Pari Chowk, the DM Office, Jagat Farm, Surajpur, Kulesara, and Bhangel village.
A Step Toward Holistic Development
With the rapid growth of industrial units and housing projects in the YEIDA zone, the demand for accessible and reliable public transport has surged. These newly planned services aim to address that demand while complementing the region’s infrastructural growth.
The launch of the Jewar Airport-Pari Chowk bus service is just the beginning. Plans are also underway to introduce electric buses connecting Delhi to Jewar Airport, marking a push toward sustainable mobility.
These steps underscore the visionary approach of CM Yogi’s administration in transforming the YEIDA region into a well-connected and progressive urban hub. The expansion of public transportation is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing mobility, boosting local economies, and attracting further investment and development.
