Bhadohi — Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an extensive tour of Bhadohi district, reviewing development projects, health infrastructure, and law and order. He instructed district officials to address public grievances with sensitivity and merit-based solutions, emphasizing justice for the underprivileged and the timely resolution of long-pending revenue disputes.

During the visit, CM Yogi inspected the under-construction 100-bed joint district hospital, 50-bed critical care block, and hemodialysis unit, directing that all work be completed with high quality standards within the stipulated time. He praised Bhadohi’s top-ranking performance under the PM TB-Free India Campaign, and urged officials to adopt TB patients, providing nutrition kits and ensuring complete eradication by November 2025.

Highlighting Bhadohi’s pivotal role in India’s carpet industry, he noted that 60% of India’s carpet exports come from Uttar Pradesh, and 60% of that from Bhadohi alone. He directed the district administration to promote the Carpet Expo Mart in collaboration with CEPC and stakeholders, and also emphasized boosting industrial activities through an expanded land bank by Udyog Bandhu.

In line with environmental commitments, CM Yogi launched the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ (One Tree for Mother) campaign by planting a rudraksh sapling in the Collectorate premises. He called on citizens and public representatives to actively participate in the upcoming mega plantation drive in July, particularly along the Morwa and Varuna riverbanks, with support from local governing bodies.

To strengthen rural infrastructure, the CM stressed planned development in Gyanpur, proposed an ethanol production facility at Aurai Sugar Mill, and ensured benefits under the PM and CM rural housing schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries. He emphasized regular power supply, road safety during festivals like Muharram and Kanwar Yatra, and immediate redressal of electrical complaints via toll-free number 1912.

On the law and order front, CM Yogi ordered zero tolerance against land, mining, and forest mafia, and directed officials to monitor investigations at SP and ASP levels. He emphasized strict action in POSCO and women’s safety cases, accountability in animal trafficking, and swift action in religious conversion cases.

The CM concluded the review in the presence of Water Resources Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, public representatives, and senior officials, reaffirming his government’s commitment to inclusive development, public welfare, and effective governance in Bhadohi.
