CM Yogi Adityanath Distributes Appointment Letters to Nursing Officers at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences

Lucknow: In a significant step towards strengthening healthcare services in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed appointment letters to newly selected nursing officers at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS), Lucknow.

The recruitment drive marks the successful completion of a transparent and merit-based selection process, in which 665 nursing officers were chosen from approximately 47,000 applicants across the country.

Addressing the newly appointed nursing officers, the Chief Minister congratulated them and urged them to uphold the highest standards of service. He emphasized the importance of honesty, dedication, professional discipline, and compassion towards patients.

Highlighting the critical role of nursing staff, he said that they form the backbone of the healthcare system, and their conduct directly influences patient trust and treatment outcomes.

The Chief Minister also praised the rapid progress of RMLIMS, noting that the institute has achieved significant milestones in a short period, including performing over 250 robotic surgeries and kidney transplants. He added that the institute is set to become a leading center in the state with the introduction of advanced Gamma Knife technology.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak congratulated the selected candidates and said the appointments would further strengthen patient care services. He reiterated the state government’s commitment to equipping healthcare institutions with modern technology and skilled human resources, adding that RMLIMS is emerging as a model institution.

Minister of State (Medical Education and Health) Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh described the recruitment process as a strong example of transparency and good governance. He also expressed confidence that the newly appointed nursing officers would play a key role in enhancing service quality.
