Mumbai: Actor Chitrangda Singh has shared her New Year intentions, revealing that she plans to welcome the year in a calm, uncomplicated manner, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Speaking to IANS, the actress said she intends to take a short break from work and focus entirely on spending quality time with her family.
“There aren’t any elaborate plans for the New Year,” Chitrangda said. “It’s just about taking some time off and being with family—spending about a week completely together.”
She added that the family is likely to spend this time on a farm outside the city, choosing to unplug from their routine lives. “It will probably be farm life—regular stuff, agricultural activities, and simple living. That’s how it’s going to be,” she explained.
On the professional front, Chitrangda was recently seen in Honey Trehan’s murder thriller Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders, a sequel to the 2020 film Raat Akeli Hai, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte. The film follows Inspector Jatil Yadav as he investigates a new case linked to the influential Bansal family.
Chitrangda will next be seen alongside Salman Khan in Battle of Galwan, based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops.
