Ayodhya, June 5, 2025 – In a moment steeped in history and spirituality, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath witnessed the grand consecration (pran-pratishtha) of Lord Ram and other deities within the newly built sanctum of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex. The ceremony, held amidst Vedic chants and sacred rituals, marked a spiritual milestone for Ayodhya—and coincided with the CM’s 53rd birthday.
The celebration also included vibrant festivities on the banks of the Saryu River as the city observed the Saryu Trayodashi Janmotsav, with thousands of devotees gathering for special aartis and cultural events. Saints and mahants hailed Yogi Adityanath for restoring Ayodhya’s lost glory, stating that under his leadership, the city had transformed into a daily celebration of faith and tradition.
Over the past eight years, Ayodhya witnessed developmental projects worth over ₹32,000 crore. These included major upgrades in roads, railways, airport infrastructure, tourism amenities, and beautification of sacred sites like the Ram Katha Park and Saryu ghats.

Spiritual leaders praised the CM for reviving Ayodhya’s spiritual and economic essence. From the construction of the grand Ram temple to the flourishing local economy driven by religious tourism and cultural vibrancy, they credited Yogi’s vision and unwavering dedication.

In the words of saints, “Yogi Adityanath did what Maharishi Vashishtha once did—he reestablished Raja Ram’s divine presence.”

The day also highlighted the deep generational connection between the Gorakhnath Math and the Ram temple movement, with three generations, including the CM himself, actively involved in its cause.
Under the “double engine” government, Ayodhya now experiences “daily festivities, daily auspiciousness”, with businesses booming and spiritual tourism flourishing—turning the temple town into a global religious and cultural capital.
