Unnao: Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh, the country’s first AI-augmented multidisciplinary university that has been scaling new heights in education and research, has achieved another historic milestone. Dr. SubhenduChakroborty, Assistant Dean Research, Deputy Registrar, and Associate Professor of Chemistry, has been listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists in the prestigious Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List for 2025. This global ranking is prepared on the basis of citation impact and research indicators of scientists worldwide. Significantly, in the field of Materials Science, out of more than 3,14,000 scientists across the globe, Dr. Chakroborty has secured the 5,357th rank. This is not only a personal achievement for him but also a testament to CU UP’s global research identity.
Dr. Chakroborty’s research in nanomaterials and sustainable chemistry has opened new directions for the scientific community. His work today forms the basis of global scientific discussions and discoveries and is making a significant contribution to new technologies and sustainable development.
