CCRAS-Manthan 2025 Concludes at NBRI, Focus on Future Strategies in Ayurveda Research

Lucknow — A two-day national review conference, CCRAS-Manthan 2025, aimed at outlining the achievements and future roadmap of Ayurveda research institutions, concluded at the NBRI Auditorium on 14 October.

Organised by the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Lucknow, under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, the conference reviewed the mid-term progress and future plans of 30 peripheral institutes across the country.

The event was inaugurated under the chairmanship of Prof. Vaidya Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General, CCRAS. During the inaugural session, the websites of all 30 peripheral institutes were launched and the online portal for CCRAS publications was unveiled.

Discussions focused on innovation, future possibilities, and institutional achievements, with institutes presenting their progress. Institutes in Jhansi, Ranikhet, Gwalior, and Bengaluru received Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, while those in Goa, Ahmedabad, and Gangtok were honoured for NABH accreditation. CCRAS Hindi journals were also released.

On the second day, a National Manthan Session was held with heads of various units, again chaired by Prof. Acharya. Dr. N. Shrikant (DDG), Deepak Kochhar (Deputy Director, Administration), officials and staff participated.

Extensive deliberations were held on research progress, coordination, and strategic planning.
NBRI Director Dr. A.K. Shasany was present, and Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Assistant Director In-charge, delivered the vote of thanks.
