Lucknow | The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Lucknow, inaugurated a five-day multimedia exhibition and public outreach programme on the theme “Viksit Bharat ka Amrit Kaal: 11 Years of Service, Good Governance and Welfare of the Poor” at the Atal Auditorium, Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Padma Shri Ram Saran Verma, who lit the ceremonial lamp along with Rohit Singh (Registrar, DSMNRU), Prof. V.K. Singh (Dean Academic), and social worker Durgesh Tripathi. The dignitaries also visited the “Photo Exhibition”, which showcases over 80 thematic panels highlighting major achievements of the Government of India, including “Operation Sindoor” and initiatives for the respect and upliftment of farmers and the underprivileged.
Padma Shri Verma, in his address, emphasised the role of agriculture, self-reliance and poverty eradication, stating, “When a farmer adopts new technology, the entire society prospers.” He highlighted key government schemes such as Drone Didis, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Crop Insurance Scheme, Ayushman Bharat and UDAN, crediting them for India’s multidimensional progress over the past 11 years.
In a message, Vice-Chancellor Acharya Sanjay Singh praised CBC Lucknow and called the exhibition highly informative for teachers, students and the public, urging everyone to attend.
Rohit Singh said India is moving ahead with confidence and ‘Operation Sindoor’ stands as a symbol of its strength. He also stressed that the university remains committed to the rehabilitation and empowerment of persons with disabilities, resonating with the programme theme.
Prof. V.K. Singh appreciated CBC’s efforts and encouraged students, teachers and citizens to participate actively, while Durgesh Tripathi stated that the last 11 years have opened doors of dignity and opportunity for the youth, applauding CBC for effectively promoting welfare schemes.

Earlier, CBC Lucknow Director Manoj Kumar Verma welcomed the guests and said the objective of the programme is to inform citizens about the government’s achievements in service, governance and welfare.
The event featured quiz competitions, cultural performances by Ravishankar Birha & Party, Zaidi Magic Group and a mind-reading show, which mesmerised the audience. The exhibition is open to all citizens with free entry from 10 AM to 6 PM daily.
Prior to the main event, a two-day pre-publicity campaign (October 12–13) was conducted, during which ‘Chetna Rath’ vehicles were flagged off and extensively promoted the programme across Lucknow through banners, posters, pamphlets, stickers and hoardings.
Regional Publicity Officers Jai Singh, Laxman Sharma, Aman Tripathi and other officials, staff members and distinguished citizens were present. The programme was conducted by Rajendra Vishwakarma “Harihar.”
