Car-E-Rickshaw Collision at Jai Hind Crossing Injures Four in Lucknow, One Detained

Lucknow: A road accident occurred early  morning at Jai Hind Crossing in the Kaisarbagh police station area, involving a Nexa Ignis car (registration UP32LE8366) and an e-rickshaw (registration UP32SN0417). The incident took place around 6:50 AM, leading to injuries to four individuals traveling in the e-rickshaw.

Upon receiving the information, the Kaisarbagh police team rushed to the scene. Preliminary investigations revealed that the collision resulted in three people being admitted to Balrampur Hospital for treatment, while one left the scene with minor injuries.

Injured Individuals Identified:

  1. A 17-year-old girl, a student of Class 11 at Emma Thompson School, resident of Golaganj, Barood Khana, Wazirganj, Lucknow.

  2. Mohammad Asif alias Chhona, approx. 40 years old, the e-rickshaw driver, son of Mohammad Tariq, resident of Basmandi, Lucknow.

  3. Nisha, 38, wife of Hashim, resident of Khada, Madeyganj, Lucknow.

  4. Another Class 11 student of Emma Thompson School, who sustained minor injuries and left the site after the incident.

The car driver, identified as Vipul Mishra, son of Late Vijay Kumar Mishra, resident of Type-3, 2/6 Staff Quarters, LU New Campus, Jankipuram, Lucknow, has been taken into custody by the local police. Further legal action is underway.
