Call for Unity and Sanatan Board Echoes at Sanatan Ekta Maha Sammelan

Lucknow — A strong call for Hindu unity and the creation of a Sanatan Board to safeguard Sanatan culture resonated at the Sanatan Ekta Maha Sammelan, held on the occasion of Shri Sadguru Kabir Saheb Jayanti at Kabir Ashram, Dasauli, Kursi Road. The event was organized under the banner of Akhanda Aryavarta Arya Tridandi Mahasabha and brought together saints, seers, spiritual leaders, and socio-religious organizations from across the country.

The conference began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Anit Kaushik, National President of the Pradhan Mantri Jankalyan Yojana Jagrukta Abhiyan, followed by a Ganesh Vandana. The key speakers unanimously emphasized the need for uniting the Hindu community to protect and preserve India’s ancient Sanatan traditions.

Prominent voices at the gathering included Rishi Trivedi, National President of the Mahasabha, former Union Minister Kaushal Kishore, Mahant Santosh Das Khaki of Bangaad Ashram, Naimisharanya, Amar Singh Yadav, National President of Jan Bal Party, Sanjay Srivastava, National Treasurer, Siddharth Dubey, National General Secretary, and other dignitaries from socio-political and spiritual organizations.

Rishi Trivedi made a passionate appeal to Hindus across the nation, stating, “The division of India in 1947 based on religion gave Muslims Pakistan as an Islamic state, but Hindus were left with a secular India that continues to neglect their identity. The situation now is worse than at the time of Partition due to internal caste divisions within the Sanatan community.”

He stressed the importance of launching continuous awareness drives across the nation to awaken people in support of declaring India a Hindu Rashtra and to defend Sanatan Dharma. He also reiterated that a Sanatan Board, similar to existing minority boards, must be established by the Centre to safeguard the rights and heritage of the country’s majority Sanatan community.

The speakers also pointed out that despite being the majority, the Sanatan society often finds itself without institutional support. Establishing a dedicated Sanatan Board would help address socio-religious issues, protect traditional knowledge systems, and preserve India’s Vedic heritage.

Other notable attendees included Anjani Pandey, President of the Joint Trade and Industry Board, Pankaj Tiwari of Jan Vikas Mahasabha, Ram Tiwari of Mangal Foundation, Vijendra Nigam (Legal Cell), Baba Mahadev, National Spokesperson, Kamal Ji from Brahmin Parivar, Lucknow, Shravan Kumar Mishra, Vice President of Yogi Sena, and Anita Tiwari, President of the Women’s Wing.

Spiritual dignitaries present were Shri Shri 108 Mahant Yogendra Das Saheb, Acharya Shivpujan Dixit (Manager, Kabir Saheb Ved Vedang Gurukulam), Vimal Ji, and Sikh representative Sardar Manjeet Singh, who emphasized interfaith respect and recalled the Sikh Gurus’ contributions to India’s spiritual heritage.

The Sammelan concluded with a collective resolution demanding immediate action from the Government of India to establish the Sanatan Board and uphold the constitutional and cultural rights of the majority Sanatan community.

The conference marked a significant moment in the ongoing conversation around cultural preservation and religious identity in modern India, urging the government to recognize the cultural aspirations of Sanatan adherents in a rapidly changing social landscape.
