Lucknow: Preparations to make Bundelkhand Expressway the first solar expressway of Uttar Pradesh have intensified. Regarding which, Industrial Development Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi held a meeting with departmental officials at the camp office located at 6 Kalidas Marg. It was decided to hold a large seminar with all stakeholders and solar energy experts in Lucknow on August 9 regarding the construction of Solar Expressway and to hold a review meeting and inspection of the progress along with the construction work of Ganga Expressway in Prayagraj on August 10.
Principal Secretary Anil Sagar, Secretary Abhishek Prakash, ACEO UPEIDA Hari Pratap Shahi and other officials were present.
Bundelkhand Expressway will not only protect the environment but will also generate electricity. More than 25 thousand plants will be planted on both sides of the expressway for environmental protection. Along with this, the state’s longest solar park will also be developed on 1700 hectares of land.
