BSP throws a googly as BJP watches

Mayawati

Meerut: Voting for the Lok Sabha elections is to be held in the first two phases in western Uttar Pradesh. Due to the engineering of ticket distribution by BSP chief Mayawati, the election of BJP candidates on many seats is stuck.

Weakness seen before ticket distribution

In this Lok Sabha election, Bahujan Samaj Party has distributed tickets differently, which has created problems for BJP. From Meerut-Hapur Lok Sabha constituency, BSP has fielded Devvrat Tyagi of BJP cadre voter Tyagi Samaj. Due to this, the Tyagi community, which is angry with BJP for not getting proper participation in politics, has got an alternative. The youth of Tyagi community are seen going in favor of their co-religionist BSP candidate. BJP candidate Arun Govil seems to be suffering direct loss due to this.

Similarly, BSP has made Dara Singh Prajapati its candidate from Muzaffarnagar. Prajapati and other extremely backward castes are mobilizing in favor of Dara Singh. BJP candidate Dr. Sanjeev Balyan also seems to be suffering the consequences of this. From Kairana seat, BSP has fielded Shripal Rana, another BJP cadre from the Kshatriya community. Here, the Kshatriya community has already expressed displeasure with BJP and has announced to vote against its candidates. In such a situation, BSP has also given an option to the Kshatriya community. BJP candidate Pradeep Chaudhary is also looking uneasy from here.

Difficulties for alliance candidates also increased

This community is angry with BJP for not giving ticket to the Kshatriya candidate from Ghaziabad Lok Sabha seat and has announced to oppose BJP. From here too, BSP has increased the problems of BJP candidate Atul Garg by giving ticket to Nandkishore Pundir of Kshatriya community. In Baghpat Lok Sabha seat also, BSP has fielded a candidate from Gurjar community and forced BJP-RLD alliance candidate Dr. Rajkumar Sangwan to work extra hard.

From Bijnor Lok Sabha seat, BSP has made the election interesting by fielding Vijendra Singh of Jat community against Chandan Chauhan, the Gurjar community candidate of RLD-BJP alliance. Due to this, the problems of the candidates of BJP-RLD alliance are increasing.

To counter this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself held an election rally on Wednesday in Rardhana village, a Kshatriya dominated area of Meerut. Similarly, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is also active in Western Uttar Pradesh.
