BSP Reaffirms Commitment to Bahujan Welfare, Prepares for Electoral Battle

BSP Leadership Congratulates Party Cadre on Historic State-Level Event and Outlines Roadmap for Upcoming Uttar Pradesh Elections

Lucknow – The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) issued a press statement  commemorating the death anniversary of the party’s founder,  Kanshi Ram , and congratulating its cadre for the historic success of the Uttar Pradesh State-Level Mega-Event held in Lucknow in 2025. The BSP extended heartfelt gratitude to all party workers, office bearers, and supporters—both senior and grassroots—for their dedication and tireless efforts in making the event a resounding success.

The press release emphasized that the BSP, unlike other parties, does not rely on wealthy capitalists or influential elites to further its political ambitions. As India’s sole Ambedkarite party, the BSP remains firmly committed to the welfare of society’s marginalized sections, including Dalits, Adivasis, backward classes, and other underprivileged communities. The party continues to focus on ensuring constitutional rights, public safety, and social justice, as has been repeatedly demonstrated under its leadership in Uttar Pradesh.

The statement also outlined the party’s strategic focus on political empowerment and electoral preparation. BSP supremo Mayawati  appealed to all members to dedicate their full physical, financial, and intellectual resources toward ensuring victory in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Party workers were instructed to expedite the completion of pending organizational tasks at the district and local levels to strengthen the party structure and mobilize grassroots support effectively.

Highlighting the party’s political integrity and financial accountability, the press release mentioned that proceeds from ticket sales for BSP-organized events, such as memorials, parks, and public spaces constructed during previous tenures, are entirely reinvested in maintenance and development, demonstrating the party’s dedication to social welfare rather than personal gain. Criticism from rival parties was dismissed as baseless, with the BSP urging its cadre to remain vigilant against misinformation and political rivalry.

The press release further noted the participation of Uttarakhand state-level party officials, who attended the meeting and received clear directives on implementing the party’s organizational and electoral strategies at the regional level. Mayawati Ji reiterated the importance of mobilizing voters at the grassroots, especially in rural and marginalized communities, ensuring that BSP’s message of social transformation and economic emancipation reaches every corner of the state.

Summing it up, the BSP reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the founder’s vision and guiding the party toward political empowerment that uplifts the Bahujan community, safeguards their rights, and ensures their active participation in governance. Party leaders across the state were urged to carry forward these directives, strengthen the organization, and work collectively to secure a decisive electoral mandate in favor of the BSP.
