Mumbai: In a significant development, the Bombay High Court has issued an order restraining the circulation of alleged defamatory remarks against Palash Muchhal, offering major relief to the music composer.
The Court passed an immediate restraint order against Vidnyan Mane, directing him not to make or publish any further comments concerning Palash after taking note of statements deemed defamatory. The order effectively curbs the spread of what were described as malicious rumours and maligning speculations.
Observing that such remarks can seriously impact an individual’s reputation and dignity, the High Court directed that no further statements of a similar nature be made until further proceedings. The interim relief is seen as a crucial step in safeguarding the personal and professional standing of the composer.

Advocate Shreyansh Mithare, counsel for Palash, termed the order a “significant moment” and a “big relief” for his client. He said the Court’s intervention has immediately halted the circulation of false remarks and restored a sense of fairness amid the controversy.
The matter is expected to be heard further as legal proceedings continue.
