Lucknow- To mark the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized under the Seva Pakhwada initiative at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS), Lucknow.
The camp was held at the institute’s hospital block blood bank and extended to multiple locations including Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University, Mohanlalganj Community Medicine Department (Ujiriyaon), and Kelvin Talukedar College. Faculty members, resident doctors, officials, nurses, paramedical staff, and students enthusiastically participated in the noble cause.
Through collective effort and a spirit of service, the initiative successfully collected 75 units of blood in a single day, a lifesaving resource for patients in need. Organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all donors, describing their contribution as a powerful example of selfless social service.

The camp was led by Prof. Subrat Chandra, Head of Transfusion Medicine and Blood Bank, with active support from all departments of the institute. Officials noted that the effort not only strengthens the institute’s role in providing advanced healthcare but also highlights its deep commitment to social responsibility, compassion, and community service.
