Lucknow: The Vikas Nagar police team in Lucknow has successfully solved a blind murder case that took place on December 30, leading to the arrest of three hardened accused. The breakthrough came after extensive investigation and analysis of as many as 1,289 CCTV camera footages from the surrounding areas.
According to the police, the case was cracked after relentless efforts by the entire Vikas Nagar police station team, which worked continuously to piece together crucial evidence. Investigations revealed that the victim, Lalaram, had an earlier dispute with the accused, which later turned into a conspiracy to murder him.

Police stated that after committing the crime, the accused allegedly looted ₹7,240 from the victim’s pocket and attempted to flee. However, acting on strong technical and ground-level evidence, the police apprehended the suspects and sent them to judicial custody.

The arrested accused have been identified as Sonu, Dhanraj, and Rahul alias Shiva. Police officials confirmed that further investigation is underway and all collected evidence will be presented before the court in due course.
