Big bang show awaits Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show

Lucknow: Buyers from 72 countries will also participate in the second edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show. Out of this, about 400 buyers have also registered to participate in this mega event till August 9. These 72 countries include buyers from 10 regions including Europe to Oceania and Africa. More than 500 foreign buyers are expected to participate in the event.

It is noteworthy that the second edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show is going to be organized from 25 to 29 September in the huge campus of India Exposition Mart, Greater Noida. This mega event will be bigger and grander than the event held in 2023, for which the Yogi government has started preparations.

Maximum 14 countries from Africa region have registered Among the countries that have so far registered to participate in the UP International Trade Show, the maximum 14 countries are from the Africa region. Apart from this, 12 countries each are from Europe and West Asia and North Africa (WANA). Apart from this, 8 countries are from Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region, 7 countries from Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region, 5 countries from Southeast Asian (SEA) region, 4 countries each from South African region (SA) and Northeast Asian (NEA) region.

At the same time, 3 countries each are from North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and Oceania region. Talking about buyers, the maximum 75 buyers are from West Asia and North Africa (WANA). At the same time, 50-50 buyers are from CIS, Africa and South African region, while 35 buyers have registered from LAC, 20 each from NEA and SEA and 18 buyers from NAFTA.

CM Yogi became a supporter in the treatment of patients of the state suffering from serious diseases. Exhibitors and visitors will come in more numbers than in 2023. People from various states of the country as well as many countries are excited about this event and are coming to participate. This time more exhibitors and visitors are expected to come to the UP International Trade Show as compared to 2023. While 2,000 exhibitors came here in the first edition, this number is proposed to be 2500 in 2024.

Not only this, one lakh visitors will come in Business to Business (B2B), which was 70 thousand in the first edition. Similarly, there is a proposal to bring 3.5 lakh visitors in Business to Customer (B2C), which was 2.37 lakh in 2023. While more than 1 lakh new business sources were seen emerging in 2023, this number is proposed to be 1.25 lakh in 2024. This international trade show is going to play an important role in providing a global platform for entrepreneurs, manufacturers and exporters from sectors such as big industries, IT/ITES, MSME, startup, education, agriculture, health, tourism and culture, energy, ODOP of the state. The Yogi government is working to give it a grand shape.
