at historic ‘Carriappa War Memorial’ of the Regimental Centre witnessed ‘Tribute to the Fallen Heroes’ on December 2025 wherein the senior officers paid respect to the supreme sacrifice of regimental heroes spiralling the atmosphere with patriotism and pride. handed over the ‘Baton’, the prestigious appointment of ‘Colonel of the Rajput Regiment’ to Lt Gen Harjeet Singh Sahi, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, Commandant, Army war college, Mhow. Newly appointed, the 19th Colonel of the Rajput Regiment honoured his predecessor for his distinguished service spanning over four years of Colonelcy which witnessed ‘The Rajput Regiment’ attaining pinnacle of glory. The handing taking over ceremony and presentation of the scroll epitomises The Rajput Regiment’s enduring values of traditions, honour and professional excellence. Addressing the gathering, former and present Colonel of the Rajput Regiment encouraged all ranks to continue the glorious traditions of the Rajput Regiment with dedication and valour, true to the Regimental Motto ‘Sarvatra Vijay’ and reminded all ranks for Regiment’s steadfast commitment to the nation and the Indian Army
