Bareilly: Students of the Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) program at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University undertook an industrial visit to Radisson Hotel Bareilly as part of their academic curriculum, aimed at providing practical exposure to real-world hotel operations.
The students were warmly welcomed by Santosh Paladhi, Director of Marketing and Sales at the hotel, who shared valuable insights into sales strategies, marketing practices, and guest relationship management. He also motivated students to prepare for dynamic careers in the hospitality sector.
The academic delegation was led by Professor (Dr.) Tulika Saxena, Head and Dean of the department. Faculty members including Dr. Harish Chandra Bhatt, Paras Santoshi, Dr. Hema Verma, and Miss Ekta Saxena accompanied the students, guiding them through various departments such as front office, catering, and housekeeping, helping them understand operational workflows in detail.
During the four-hour session, students actively interacted with industry professionals and received answers to their technical queries. At the conclusion, Dr. Tulika Saxena expressed gratitude to Santosh Paladhi and the Radisson management for facilitating the informative visit.

Vice-Chancellor Professor K.P. Singh appreciated the initiative, stating that such industrial visits play a vital role in bridging the gap between academic learning and practical experience. He commended the department and faculty for organizing the program and reiterated the university’s commitment to providing students with real-world industry exposure.
The university administration also extended thanks to the hotel management for their cooperation in making the visit successful.
