Bharat Electronics Yatra flagged off from Ghaziabad to give new momentum to electronics manufacturing

Ghaziabad | Strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s leading role in the Electronics and Information Technology sector, the Bharat Electronics Yatra was successfully conducted  from Ghaziabad. The national industry and buyer outreach initiative was flagged off by Sunil Kumar Sharma, Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The Yatra is being organised by Messe Muenchen India under electronica India and productronica India 2026, with the objective of promoting electronics manufacturing, strengthening supply chains, and enhancing engagement between regional industries and buyer groups.

Addressing the occasion, Sunil Kumar Sharma stated that the Government of Uttar Pradesh is committed to building a strong, modern, and future-ready electronics manufacturing ecosystem. He emphasized that platforms like the Bharat Electronics Yatra bring together government, industry, and market demand, thereby accelerating investments and strengthening regional manufacturing capabilities.

It is noteworthy that Uttar Pradesh is the Host State for electronica India and productronica India 2026, scheduled to be held from April 08 to April 10, 2026, at India Expo Mart Limited, Greater Noida. The upcoming edition is planned on an expanded scale, with participation already confirmed by over 300 exhibitors.

The Bharat Electronics Yatra has been designed as a structured buyer-connect and industry outreach programme, facilitating interaction with Original Equipment Manufacturers, Electronics Manufacturing Services companies, system integrators, and key electronics buyer clusters.

The North India phase, beginning with Uttar Pradesh and the Delhi–National Capital Region, will be followed by programmes across Western and Southern India, culminating with the Bengaluru edition in 2026. With active support from the Government of Uttar Pradesh and participation from leading industry partners such as Panasonic and Maxim, the programme was successfully completed.
