Speaking about the film, Bhumi Pednekar said the story deeply moved her when she first read the script. She noted that the film highlights the courage of journalists who put everything at stake to bring the truth to light. “My character represents someone who refuses to remain silent in the face of injustice. It was emotionally challenging because the subject is very real and sensitive, but we felt it was important to tell this story with honesty,” she said.
Director Pulkit added that the team aimed to present the story with both authenticity and sensitivity. He emphasized that such narratives must be told because they shed light on issues that often remain hidden from public view.
