Ayodhya/Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday unveiled the ‘Ayodhya Calendar’ at a special event held in Lucknow, describing it as a creative initiative that beautifully encapsulates the spiritual aura, cultural richness, and historical significance of Ramnagari Ayodhya.
The launch ceremony was attended by Ayodhya Divisional Commissioner Rajesh Kumar, District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde, and Vice-Chairman of the Ayodhya Development Authority Anuraj Jain, among other senior officials.

Praising the calendar, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Ayodhya stands as a global symbol of India’s glorious traditions and deep-rooted cultural consciousness. “Ayodhya is not merely a city; it is a living embodiment of India’s spiritual legacy. This calendar presents the city’s divine energy, architectural splendour, and cultural vibrancy in an impactful and aesthetically rich manner,” the Chief Minister said.
He noted that the calendar uses powerful visual storytelling to showcase Ayodhya’s divinity, religious faith, and architectural beauty, offering viewers an immersive glimpse into the soul of the sacred city. The photographs featured in the calendar have been captured by renowned photographer Rajesh Kumar Singh, whose work vividly highlights the unique identity and timeless charm of Ramnagari.
“The images are not just visually appealing, but deeply evocative. They reflect Ayodhya’s spiritual depth and historical continuity, allowing people to emotionally connect with the city’s sacred landscape,” CM Yogi added.

Expressing confidence in the initiative, the Chief Minister said the ‘Ayodhya Calendar’ will further strengthen the city’s identity on national and international platforms. He emphasized that such creative documentation plays a crucial role in promoting Ayodhya’s cultural heritage, spiritual consciousness, and tourism potential.
CM Yogi also underlined that the calendar would serve as an effective medium to take Ayodhya’s message of faith, harmony, and tradition to the masses, both within India and abroad. “This effort aligns with the broader vision of presenting Ayodhya as a world-class spiritual and cultural destination while preserving its ancient ethos,” he said.
The unveiling of the calendar comes at a time when Ayodhya is witnessing unprecedented global attention, and initiatives like these are expected to further reinforce its position as one of the most revered spiritual centres of the world.
