Ayodhya: The Ayodhya Ram temple has planned a series of events to commemorate the first anniversary of the consecration of the Ram Lalla statue, set for January 11, 2025. This day, known as “Pratishtha Dwadashi,” will feature various ceremonies at the temple, including Agnihotra rituals, chanting of Ram Raksha Stotra, and recitation of Hanuman Chalisa.
The festivities will begin with Agnihotra, taking place in two sessions—morning (8-11 a.m.) and afternoon (2-5 p.m.). In addition, a special program will include chanting of the 6 lakh Shri Ram Mantra, ‘Rag Seva’, cultural performances, and a Ram Katha at Angad Tila within the temple grounds. Devotees will also receive Prasad starting in the morning.
The consecration of the Ram Lalla statue, which occurred on January 22 this year, was presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
