Ayodhya. The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has launched a new initiative to enhance the convenience of pilgrims visiting Ayodhya. Display kiosks will be installed at key locations to provide real-time information about the opening timings and distances of prominent temples such as Ram Mandir and Hanuman Garhi. This initiative aims to ensure seamless access to historical, cultural, and tourist-related information for visitors.
Under this initiative, four major locations, including the railway station and airport, will be equipped with display kiosks. These kiosks will offer real-time updates and uninterrupted connectivity, ensuring that pilgrims and tourists have easy access to essential information.
Shri Ayodhya Ji Teerth Vikas Parishad to Implement the Project
The Shri Ayodhya Ji Teerth Vikas Parishad has commenced work on implementing this project. If successful, the display kiosks will be extended to other locations, significantly benefiting pilgrims and tourists visiting the city.
Cost of Each Kiosk Set at INR 2.5 Lakh
Speaking about the initiative, Shri Ayodhya Ji Teerth Vikas Parishad CEO Santosh Sharma stated, “Our goal is to provide a convenient and informative experience for pilgrims in Ayodhya. The installation of display kiosks will enable visitors to access relevant information easily, making their pilgrimage smoother. This initiative will also boost Ayodhya’s tourism industry.”
The display kiosks will not only assist pilgrims but also educate tourists about Ayodhya’s historical and cultural significance. Each kiosk is estimated to cost around INR 2.5 lakh.
