Lucknow: Continuous efforts are going on under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the spread of higher education in Uttar Pradesh. In this sequence, the Higher Education Department has provided the authorization letter for the establishment of a new Vidya University in Meerut. This is another important step of the government towards the bright future of the youth of the state.
Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay said that under the guidance of the Chief Minister, quality education is expanding in the state through private universities, which is an important step towards the bright future of the youth of the state. In the program organized in the presence of Principal Secretary, Higher Education, MP Aggarwal, Minister Yogendra Upadhyay, while giving permission to operate Vidya University, Meerut, emphasized on compliance with the rules and conditions for the smooth operation of the university. He said that this university will prove to be helpful in preparing the youth for global level competition.
Vidya Vishwavidyalaya, Meerut has recently been approved under the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities (Eighth Amendment) Ordinance, 2024 and has been included in Schedule-2 of the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities Act, 2019 at serial number 46. With the authorization letter, this university will now be able to start its operational process.
