Arjun Kapoor's one time Ishaqzaade nightmare still haunts him

Mumbai: Following a string of box office failures, including “Kuttey” and “The Lady Killer,” Arjun Kapoor just made a spectacular return with “Singham Again.” The actor, who portrayed Danger Lanka, the main antagonist in the movie, dominated it with his gory performance. Both spectators and journalists have been giving the actor a lot of praise for his performance. Arjun reflected about his Bollywood career in a recent interview. He admitted to dropping out of school to join B-town and failing the eleventh grade. Speaking of the danger, he reflected on what may have happened if “Ishaqzaade” had failed. “I was in NM (Narsee Monjee) in Bombay, and I had flunked 11th standard,” Arjun said in an interview with Pinkvilla. My family gave me permission to follow through on that decision, so I’ve had the luxury of doing so. Allowing their kid to stop their education is very difficult for any parent. However, I made it quite apparent that I intended to work in the film industry. I never went, even though I assumed I would only help out at Kal Ho Na Ho and then return home.

Arjun Kapoor recalled his first movie, “Ishaqzaade,” saying, “My mom had died forty-five days before to Ishaqzaade. I was only diverting myself during promotions since I felt totally numb. I saw the audience’s response when I went to a theater. They were on Chokra Jawaan whistling. It was really important to me. It dawned on me that day that this may be the rest of my life.

Many people are unaware of this, but I would have been forced to live with the regret that I lacked credible educational credentials if Ishaqzaade hadn’t been employed. Your life may be determined by one Friday, and that Friday completely altered my career, emotional, and personal life. My mom was fortunate that day, in my opinion. I risked not educating myself, but if I could go back in time, I doubt I would agree with today. It was the largest risk I ever took.

“Singham Again,” starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone, is Arjun Kapoor’s most recent film. Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, and Akshay Kumar have important parts in the movie as well. The movie has made over 200 crores domestically and is now showing in theaters.
