Lucknow : On the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and champion of social justice, Late Vishwanath Pratap Singh, Apna Dal (S) organized a heartfelt tribute event at its state camp office in Lucknow. The commemorative programme was held under the leadership of the party’s state president Jatav R.P. Gautam.
Senior party leaders and members paid floral tributes to the portrait of the late Prime Minister, fondly recalling his monumental contributions to Indian politics, particularly in the realm of social justice and the empowerment of backward communities. Speakers at the event hailed him as a visionary who redefined the country’s socio-political landscape and urged the youth and leaders alike to draw inspiration from his ideals and principles.
During the programme, Sanjeev Singh Rathore, National Secretary of Apna Dal (S) Yuva Manch, was honoured with an angavastram for his contributions. Senior party leader Lalta Singh Chauhan was also felicitated in recognition of his longstanding service.
