Lucknow — Anuj Kumar emerged victorious in the men’s singles category of the Chandra Prakash Agarwal Memorial UP State Ranking Tennis Tournament, showcasing impeccable service accuracy and a robust all-around game.

The finals, played today at the SDS La Martiniere Tennis Facility, saw Anuj dominate his opponent with a combination of powerful serves and precise groundstrokes, eventually sealing his win in straight sets.

The tournament, organized by SDS Tennis Academy under the aegis of the Uttar Pradesh Tennis Association and sponsored by Gyan Milk, also witnessed stellar performances across various categories. In the Boys Under-12 Singles, Atharva Goyal claimed the title with a spirited display of skill and determination. Meanwhile, in the Girls Under-12 Doubles, the duo of Aditri Singh and Zufisha Khan emerged victorious, demonstrating excellent teamwork and strategy.

The Boys U-12 Doubles Final featured an exciting contest between Rudransh Pandey and Sarthak Shukla against Athrav Goel and Ridit Tandon. After a competitive first set, Pandey and Shukla emerged victorious with a 7-5, 6-2 scoreline. Despite a strong start by Goel and Tandon, the winning duo proved too much to handle, claiming the doubles trophy in two sets.

The U-16 Girls Doubles Final was a nail-biting affair as Aditri Singh and Zufesha Khan faced Aashi Kiran and Tashi Kiran. The match went the distance, with the first two sets split between the teams.
