The 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) being conducted at No 2 MT Battalion AMC Centre & College in Lucknow Cantonment was inspected by Group Commander Brigadier Puneet Srivastava, Lucknow Group NCC Headquarters on 05 August 2025. CATC is being organized under the aegis of 19 Uttar Pradesh Girls Battalion NCC in the leadership of Camp Commandant & Commanding Officer of Battalion Colonel (Dr) Dinesh Kumar Pathak and Administrative Officer Major Divya Sharma.
On his arrival, the girl cadets first gave him a Guard of Honour. Thereafter, Brigadier Puneet Srivastava inspected the ongoing training in the camp, training area, living area, medical facilities and cook house. Camp Training Officer Major (Dr) Manmeet Kaur Sodhi presented the report of the camp activities.
Addressing the cadets, Brigadier Puneet Srivastava said that the aim of NCC is to make the youth good citizens. Appreciating the ongoing training at the camp, Brigadier Shrivastava encouraged the cadets to always move ahead with determination and a positive attitude, focusing on their goals.
During his visit, Brigadier Puneet Srivastava also felicitated the cadets of TSC (Girls) team of NCC Group Lucknow who secured third position at the Inter Group Competition (IGC) Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) organised at NCC Directorate Uttar Pradesh level in an Annual Training Camp held in Bareilly.
Camp Commandant Colonel (Dr.) Dinesh Kumar Pathak thanked Brigadier Puneet Srivastava, the Group Commander NCC Group Lucknow. Thereafter, the programme concluded with the singing of NCC song, National Anthem and the slogan of Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
