Annual Literary Awards ‘Alankaran’ 2025–26 Celebrated in Lucknow

Lucknow: The Annual Awards Ceremony ‘Alankaran’ 2025–26 was organized under the aegis of the Rajya Karmachari Sahitya Sansthan at the auditorium of City Montessori School, Vishal Khand, Gomti Nagar.

The event was chaired by Dr. Hari Om, while Dr. Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary, Secondary and Primary Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, attended as the Chief Guest. Ram Krishna Swarnkar graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The event was smoothly conducted by P.C. Srivastava (Retd. IAS) and Vice President of the institution, Dr. Umesh ‘Aditya’.

Grand Opening and Cultural Beginning

The programme commenced with garlanding of Goddess Saraswati’s idol and ceremonial lighting of the lamp. A soulful Vani Vandana was presented by Dr. Shobha Dixit ‘Bhavana’. Dr. Seema Gupta, General Secretary of the institution, welcomed the guests and presented the annual progress report.

Prestigious Literary Awards Presented

The highlight of the समारोह was the conferment of 24 prestigious literary awards, each carrying a cash prize of ₹1 lakh, along with certificates, mementos, turbans, and shawls.

Additional Honors

Apart from the main awards, several अन्य सम्मान were also presented:

  • Sahitya Gaurav Samman (₹7,000) to Meena Gautam, Upma Gupta, Brahmanath, and Mrigank Srivastava
  • Raman Lal Agrawal ‘Ramman’ Award (₹11,000) to Nusrat Atique
  • Sahitya Bandhu Award (₹5,000) to Ram Shringar Dubey and Pratap Narayan Mishra

All recipients were felicitated with cash prizes, mementos, and traditional सम्मान सामग्री.

Poetry Recitations and Closing Remarks

The event also featured engaging poetry recitations by noted साहित्यकार including Dr. Hari Om, Dr. Kaleem Kaiser, and visiting poets such as Avinash Tripathi, Charan Singh Bashar, and Pawan Agri from Mumbai.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Dr. Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma congratulated all awardees and praised the institution for its continuous efforts in promoting literature and cultural values. He expressed hope that the संस्था would continue to grow and contribute to literary excellence.

Dr. Seema Gupta extended gratitude to all participants and dignitaries for enhancing the dignity of the event. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Purnima Bedar Srivastava.

The successful event reflected the institution’s commitment to nurturing literary talent and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Hindi and Indian literature.
