Lucknow – The Amity Institute of Liberal Arts, Amity University Lucknow Campus, successfully organized a one-day National Seminar on “Judicious Use of AI in Academic Research and Teaching Methodology.”
The seminar was inaugurated by Chief Guest Pradeep Chaturvedi, Joint Secretary (Retd.), Rajya Sabha Secretariat, Parliament of India, along with Keynote Speaker Dr. Shailendra Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Integral University; Expert Speaker Prof. (Dr.) Amitabh Wahi, Professor, Amity School of Applied Sciences, Amity University Lucknow; and Mr. Satyaprakash Rai, Senior Faculty, Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science, Lucknow.
The ceremonial lamp-lighting marked the beginning of the event in the presence of Dr. Rajesh Tiwari, Dean Academics, Amity Lucknow Campus; Dr. Manoj Pandey, Officiating Director, Amity Business School; and Dr. Satendra Kumar Mishra, Professor, Amity Institute of Liberal Arts.
In his welcome address, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Pandey extended warm greetings to all dignitaries and attendees. He emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary research and technological advancements in shaping the future of education and research.
Addressing the seminar, Chief Guest Pradeep Chaturvedi shared valuable insights into India’s legislative frameworks, policymaking, and governance. His talk provided a deeper understanding of how parliamentary processes influence national policies.
Satyaprakash Rai delivered a comprehensive lecture on advancements in electronics and communication engineering, highlighting the transformative impact of emerging technologies on modern education.
Keynote Speaker Dr. Shailendra Kumar discussed the growing role of artificial intelligence across various sectors, emphasizing its ethical, technical, and futuristic implications in academia and industry.
Meanwhile, Expert Speaker Prof. (Dr.) Amitabh Wahi provided insightful perspectives on forensic science methodologies and their applications in the criminal justice system. His session was particularly beneficial for students and researchers interested in forensic studies.
The seminar concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Satendra Kumar Mishra, who expressed gratitude to the distinguished speakers, faculty members, students, and the organizing committee for their active participation and contribution to the event’s success.
