Lucknow – Amity University Lucknow Campus marked the beginning of its academic session for the year 2025 with a solemn and spiritually enriching Havan and Poojan ceremony held on campus today. The event, conducted with the chanting of Vedic mantras, symbolized an auspicious start to the new academic journey for students and faculty alike.
As part of the Deeksharambh (Orientation) programme, newly admitted students were warmly welcomed in the presence of university dignitaries and academic leaders. Present on the occasion were Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht, Pro Vice Chancellor; Wing Commander (Dr.) Anil Tiwari, Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor; Prof. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, Dean Academics; along with Heads of Departments and faculty members from across disciplines.
In his welcome address, Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht extended heartfelt wishes to the incoming students, encouraging them to make the most of the academic and cultural opportunities at Amity. He emphasized the importance of holistic development, academic discipline, and character-building as cornerstones of success.
