Lucknow – Amity International School, Vrindavan Yojna Campus, concluded the exhilarating Amity Strikethon Under-15 Interschool Football Championship as part of its Amity Aquila Sports Day Celebration. The three-day championship, held from December 19 to 21, 2024, witnessed spirited participation from 20 schools across Lucknow, competing in both boys’ and girls’ categories.
The event provided an exceptional platform for young athletes to showcase their skills, fostering inclusivity and equal opportunity for boys and girls in sports. The vibrant atmosphere was marked by enthusiastic support from students, referees, coaches, parents, and faculty, highlighting the spirit of sportsmanship.

The championship was graced by esteemed Chief Guests, including Dr Anandeshwar Pandey, former Treasurer of the Indian Olympic Association; Jyoti Shukla, Rani Laxmi Bai awardee and Olympic 2024 qualifier; and Pramod Kumar Mishra, a renowned football player with remarkable national and international achievements.
The Grand Championship Trophy BOYS was won by DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, ELDECO, LUCKNOW and for Girls was won by Vidya Gyan school, Lucknow.
The prestigious Man of the Tournament Trophywas won by Aryan Amlani, from Stella Mary School Lucknow and the GIRL OF THE TOURNAMENT TROPHY was won by Priyanka from Vidya Gyan school, while the closing ceremony featured a spectacular lineup of performances and activities by students.
